YOU FIRST is a NYC based, non-union indie narrative short centered on two coworkers on a first date. Through a playful game of truth, their conversation begins to shift into something more vulnerable, honest, and emotionally real.
BROOKE (20s–30s, Woman): Brooke is a trans woman. Sharp, funny, guarded, and uses wit and composure to mask a deep vulnerability.
KELLY (20s–30s, man): Earnest, yet a little hard to read, he carries a softness beneath his restraint and reveals himself slowly over the course of the night.
